A Spain Food and Travel Blog from American Expats Living in Spain: Travel advice on what to eat in Spain and where to eat it. Our Spain food travel guide includes advice on Catalonia (Barcelona, Girona, and the Costa Brava), as well as Madrid and the Basque Country.

We love the Spanish food, including cheese, jamon, and tapas, but have also fallen in love with Spanish wine, and the Spanish lifestyle. We are residents of Spain, living in Girona, in Catalonia. Girona is sandwiched between Barcelona and the French border. The area, known as the Costa Brava, or the brave coast, is filled with Michelin Star restaurants, and amazing DO Emporda wineries.

But, while living in Girona, we have also been exploring other areas of Spain, to understand even more about the foods and wines of this amazing European country.

We will be updating our Spanish food and travel guide regularly, as we learn more about the food and wine of this area.
