Hotel Monte Prado is located in Melgaço, one of the two regions of the Alto Minho. We were there to eat and to finish up our wine tasting in Minho.

With comfortable rooms and fun environment, the Moxy Milan is a great place to spend time when transiting on from Milan Malpanesa airport.
As for our tour of Alentejo wine tasting . . . we stopped after Ervideira. We learned so much about the wine of the region, in such a short amount of time.
Not until our first trip to Emilia Romagna, though, that we started to learn about tasting balsamic vinegar. I came to appreciate a good aged balsamico.
