Part of our Southeast Asia Travel Guide, we share travel tips for Thailand.
I never get enough of Thailand. Although during our earlier trips I was intimidated by the food scene in Bangkok, it is now a place that I love, a place that I crave. And, we even called Bangkok home for about 18 months! It’s the perfect destination to explore the best of Southeast Asia food.

Air Asia is our preferred carrier to get around Asia. The flights are pretty cheap, reliably on time, and we have figured out exactly how to fly them successfully – how to get our favorite seats, pay our bag charges, checkin online, and even pre-order our food. But, we are still trying to figure out how […]
I was recently asked, by two different people, what is my favorite restaurant in Bangkok. It’s a stumper, really. This is not only because there is still part of me that is intimidated by Bangkok, and its food scene. It is mostly because we have focused so much on eating nothing but street food in Bangkok, easily one of the best cities in the world for cheap street eats. That’s why we jumped at the chance to take a midnight tuk tuk tour with Bangkok Food Tours, to explore the city through some of its most famous street eats in a famous form of transportation.
We are Air Asia frequent fliers. We have gotten some great deals on flights. I was surprised, however, to hear about the Air Asia Island Transfer Service, which allows you to pay for a flight, bus ticket, and ferry, all at once to help you get to various islands throughout Thailand. Although a little hesitant to […]
